It was the struggle to conquer the municipality of Adamantina.On December 24, 1948, the municipality was created through Law n° 223.
And in 1949, municipal elections were held with the inauguration of the first mayor Antônio Goulart Marmo as well as the members of the Legislative for the period from April 2, 1949 to 04 of April 1953.
